The Saturday Salon:  November 6, 2010
4:30 to 7:30 PM
45 Bexley Road - MAP

IRNE awards winners Nina Vansuch, Brian Patton, and Michael Ricca join Roslindale piano teacher Dave Ratcliffe in the kick-off event of Vansuch and Ricca’s “Saturday Salon” series. The November 6th Saturday Salon kick off event will be a house concert/singers’ showcase.  Singers may perform up to three songs.  Performance and vocal coaching is offered by music director and pianist Brian Patton.  Please bring sheet music.

Spots are limited, so please call Nina at 617-323-2363 to reserve a salon seat! The Saturday Salon series is based on Vansuch’s previous salons (Works in Progress, Artists on Call) and will offer artists a forum for showcasing and discussing works in progress—visual art, writing, theatre works, music, et al.  The salon model gives artists the opportunity to learn about their work from their colleagues (and sometime audiences) and provides a supportive and fun critiquing venue.

Each Saturday Salon (held on the first Saturday of each month) will have a specific focus.  There will be opportunities for experienced and novice artists alike. Come sing a song!  Join us for some food, drink, and fun!
