The Roslindale Arts Initiative (RAI) is thrilled to present 2-D and 3-D art from Roslindale K-8 students as part of the 2012 Roslindale Open Studios. The RAI is organized by the School Partnership Program of Eliot School of Fine & Applied Arts, in association with Boston Public Schools, BCYF Roslindale Community Center (RCC), and Boys & Girls Club of Boston. Our initiative oversees two annual art exhibits in the community, provides professional development opportunities for Roslindale art teachers and teaching artists, and is collaboratively developing a K-8 visual arts framework. Participating Roslindale schools include Bates, Conley, Haley, Irving, Mozart, Philbrick and Sumner Schools, and the out-of-school time programs of the RCC and the Sumner. For more information on the Roslindale Arts Initiative, please contact Nicole Murray, Director of Eliot's School Partnership Program at nmurray@eliotschool.org or617-524-3313. |
