Fiber has always been a central figure in most that I make; from needlework as a child to paper making and weaving as a young adult to the cashmere and wool design and work I do today. I find my inspiration comes in many forms but the thread in it all for me is rhythm. The rhythm of architecture, the rhythm of landscape and of plants. The obvious visual structure created by rhythm and the slight spontaneous variations are what I strive to capture in my work.
